On 1st July 2020, VECTOR was officially launched via a virtual conference and was attended by representatives of NATO SPS, CENTRIC, SSST, CERTH, FSS, the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Protection and Rescue Directorate.

Prof. Akhgar welcomed partners and provided an overview of the project, highlighting the key NATO SPS priorities that would be addressed through VECTOR as well as the underpinning structure of the project. This was followed by presentations and productive discussions to map out the course of the project and launch it on a trajectory for success.
